Najib: Retract of foreign investment is NOT due to poor governance

I read this headline on Nanyang Siang Pau newspaper yesterday [10 Jul 08]. He attributed retract of foreign investment to the global economic condition, and it’s not related to poor governance at all. How irresponsible the statement is!!!

There are so many cases of government officers raise “unreasonable demands” to foreign investor, and end up foreign investor decided move to China, Vietnam, etc. Well, what should we call this, if it is not poor governance, or it is not corruption! Why no ACA investigation? All these are due to greed of the officers. They are only concern about their EXTRA income, rather than whether the rakyat has job to earn a living or not. Can you rely on such government? I am not surprise if people are putting no confidence against them! Not at all…

Wake rakyat! Wake rakyat! Do we need such leader? Do we need such government?
