Student: I was sex slave for dad, brother

KEMAMAN: A Form Four student from Felda Neram Dua here alleged that she was a sex slave for her father and brother for the past two years.

She said her mother ignored her when she told her that she was repeatedly raped by them.

On Tuesday, after her 21-year-old brother, an odd job worker, raped her, she summoned all her courage and lodged a report at Chukai police station yesterday.

She told the police that the rape had been taking place since she was 14.

Police detained the 47-year-old father and brother shortly after the report was lodged.

Ivan: I am very sad to see such incident happened in my own country every now and then in recent years. There are debate recently about how should such crime be penalized. I do agree strict law could warn and prevent people from performing such crime, but tackling the root causes of such issue is more important.

Based on the social disorder happen in the recent years, it is undeniable that human being is marching the negative extreme in many ways. It is sad, but it a truth. One of the underlying issue is the religion and belief people hold nowadays are weaken by a lot negative western culture, which I don’t see / hear this much in 70’s or even earlier. Education is also another thing to blame. Student are taught how to score “A” instead of how to become a “Good” person, a person with moral and respect to others.
